Vienna is the home of classical music and their favourite son was Mozart. He was like the Britany Spears of classical music, and to see a recital of his is work is one of the cultural musts in Europe.

One of my favourite excursions is the Mozart and Strauss music concert in Vienna – it’s a great taste of a different world that few people get the chance to experience – their music was the AC/DC of the old world!

This optional excursion is usually offered on all tours staying in Vienna, Austria. Vienna is perhaps most famous for classical music and these concerts showcase the most famous pieces of work from not only Mozart but also the greatest waltz composer of all time, Johann Strauss Jr. Normally venues are old Imperial style Palaces from the Hapsburg era. They provide the chance to experience this style of the music in the home of classical music and in the city where these great works were composed.
