Mykonos, one of the fabled Cycladic Islands in Greece, offers something for almost everyone. Chill out and relax on the beach, hit up a local cafe or taverna, enjoy some authentic Greek cuisine in ‘Little Venice’, watch the sun set at the famous windmills, enjoy some watersports or hit up a club until the sun comes up.

Only a plane trip or 3 to 6’ish hours ferry ride from Athens, Mykonos is also a short ferry ride from its Cycladic sisters of Ios and Santorini.

Things to Do and See

Maybe one of the best things to do on Mykonos is…..nothing! just rest, relax, soak up the sun and go with the flow.

The bar and club scene is bordering on the insane and although allot smaller, easily ranks on par with the Spanish summertime party headquarters of Ibiza. The world famous Paradise Beach rocks on with board shorts, bikinis, swimming, dancing and drinking literally on the beach then as the sun goes down the super club of Cava Paradiso cranks up with some of the best and well known DJ’s in the world while even more can be found at the club Space in Mykonos Town.

Dilos, home of the ruins of the temple of Apollo (including an amazing amphitheater and ruins that rival Pompeii) is only a short boat ride away from the main harbor and is a must for any hard core history or culture enthusiast or those wanting to see something different.
