Nha Trang is a bay-side town famous for its white sandy beaches and clear emerald-green waters that make it the scuba diving capital of the country.

Like many towns and cities in Vietnam, it has been known by a number of names including ‘Kauthara’ but regardless of its name, the area has gained renown over the past century as perhaps the best beach resort in Vietnam.

The beaches are filled with local Vietnamese as well as tourists from all over the world who flock to the area for its relaxed, laid-back vibe, fantastic swimming and great nightlife. Thermal hot springs and mud baths are also available nearby and add even more of a resort feel to the town.
