Hostels
New York is generally an expensive city and if you don’t want to stay in hotels, hostels are a great way to go. Some of the more popular hostels used by people on Contiki Tours include:
- Big Apple Hostel (119 West 45th Street – just off Times Square)

Hotel Pennsylvania is about the cheapest place to get a real hotel room (cheaper than alot of hostels). Thing is, it’s a coin flip as to the quality of the room.
